I ordered my camera, a Canon T6 Rebel, on New Years Day of 2017 and signed up for a UL of Lafayette Potpourri Photography class on the same day. The class started in Feb.
The class was about 6 weeks, if my memory serves me correctly. On the last day, we took a field trip to Lake Martin to get sunset shots.
This was one of my favorite shots. I actually shot it in landscape mode because I was still learning Manual mode at the time.
There were no edits done to this image (with the exception with the text that I added to protect it) I had no clue as to what I was doing at the time that I shot it.
I have have gotten a lot of attention and View Bug and Pixoto awards with this picture, despite my lack of knowledge, using a preset mode and using a Rebel. ( I now have a full frame)
