I live in Washington, La, the 3rd oldest settlement in our state. It is full of history that goes back to the 1800’s. There are many homes and structures here with a lot of stories to tell.
Ceder Hill Cemetery also holds a lot of stories (and secrets), I am sure. There are graves from the 1800’s there. It is very interesting, to say the least, to stroll through and see a lot of these graves.
I have a connection to the cemetery. I know people buried there and it is also the very first cemetery that I ever shot. It gave me the passion to start seeking out other interesting burial grounds to shoot.
Before I starting typing this post, I did a little bit of searching to see if I could find some really mind blowing articles that would memorize all of you :). Unfortunately, I was not able to do that but I did find this link.
