This has been a very busy week for me!
I have been working at my nursing job from 8-5 and then coming home and working on my photography until midnight-1 AM.
Sleep is highly overrated right?
Earlier this week, the manager at the Old Courtbleau Cafe, on Main Street in Washington, reached out to me and asked me to bring pieces there to display/sell. Tonight, I delivered 3 pieces there. I am very excited to have my work be displayed in my home town! https://www.facebook.com/oldcourtableaucafe/
Also, I brought pieces to the Lafayette Art Association Gallery today and entered them into a contest. My work will be displayed there until March and will also be available for purchase. While there, I signed up to be a member and I am really looking forward to the opportunities that it will bring me. https://www.lafayetteart.org
But, wait…..
I am also vending at the Wurst Biergarten, in Lafayette tomorrow, during Art Walk! I am no where close to being ready and will be pulling another late night. http://www.wurstbiergarten.com
My house is a disaster, with framing supplies and such scattered from one end to the other. I am starting to run out of room for everything! Currently, I have my grid walls set up in my bedroom so I can hang all my work! So, I will be cleaning in between getting prepared for tomorrow!
Time is not on my side so I need to get back to work. I hope to see some of you at Art Walk tomorrow!
