So, I am not one of those photographers that push myself on people. Photographers are not a “one size fits all”. Just because one was great for you best friend, does not necessarily mean they are the right one for you.
They’re a million great photographers out there. You need to find the one that is the perfect fit for YOU though.
If you have a photographer that you do not feel comfortable with, you are not going to feel comfortable in front of their camera. Thus, you photos will most likely, not be as good as you would like them to be.
So, I d thought I give more info about me, in case anyone coming across this needs a Senior ‘tog.
I am ol boho rock n roll kinda girl with a creative spirit. Music is also a big part of my life. I love it! When I do a Senior session, I always find out what my clients favorite musical artist and/or band is. That gives me an idea of their personality and how to plan for their shoot. I also find out what motivates them, what their passions are etc. The below is a client that loved Lana Del Rey and was inspired by her album covers. She wanted to recreate the same album cover vibe. I spent weeks planning for the shoot by listening to Del Rey’s music and studying her album covers. This helped me to fully understand the vibe my client was going for.
Another great client I had was another creative edgy spirit. I didn’t have to study her so much because she and I are a lot alike so the shoot was like “bam”

I am a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography
My main gig is being a Full Time RN. I am also on the vendor/festival/art gallery scene so I do way more than portraits. I am limited to how many portrait sessions that I can do. People need to book early and ahead for me. I would rather have 1 client a month over multiple bookings in a week. This is so I can take my time with editing and ensure everyone gets the same amount of attention.
Anyone with a creative and/or edgy spirit side is great cliental for me. That is my personality and soul–artists “get” other artists. Creative people also love stepping out the box which is something I love to do. So if you are someone like that, then we d vibe well and would have a lot of fun with your shoot!
